Every 15 Minutes Program

Lawndale High School is implementing the Every 15 Minutes program this week to highlight the dangers of drinking and driving. Based on the statistic that every 15 minutes someone is killed by a drunk driver, we will pull a participating student from class to represent the living dead. A car crash and emergency rescue will be simulated on the baseball field on Wednesday for all 11th and 12th graders to watch. Thursday, we will hold an assembly to reflect on the consequences. While all of these events are simulated, we are aware that this may trigger real emotions. Please contact your counselor if you have any concerns about attending these events
