Message to Students and their Parents (for Spanish version see PDF below): Welcome to my Homepage. From here, you should be able to reach all the internet resources available for all of my classes, and more.
As Coordinator of The Marine Science Academy (MSA), I promise do everything I can to make our academy an important part of our school, and to create a strong foundation for students who want to pursue educations and careers in Marine Science and related fields. Please visit the MSA website at http://www.lawndalehs.org/msa/ for more information on the Marine Science Academy. I hope students enjoy my class and find the information I try to provide meaningful and interesting. The main purpose of this site is to provide students with a resource that enhances the learning that takes place in the classroom, and provide them with information that will allow them to succeed in my science class and beyond. This website is also the place for students to go to see what work they have missed when absent or behind.
I also hope that parents will rely on this resource to see what is being expected of students in my classes, and that it will provide them with an easy way to contact me and to stay informed about their student's progress.
It is my goal to create the best learning environment possible, and to make the learning experience productive, meaningful, and fun. I will not only try to teach science, but I also want to instil a sense of citizenship and desire to continue learning in my students.
While the material presented in my classes will be challenging and will require my students to work hard, I expect that students will have fun and find my classes rewarding. I hope that my classes and this site will be useful and enjoyable for everyone involved. Should you need to contact me, feel free to send me an email or call me using the link and/or information provided below. GO CARDINALS!
