2012-2013 Registration
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2012-2013 SCHOOL YEAR.
Welcome to Lawndale High School!
Please follow the steps below to complete your registration for the 2012-2013 school year. If you do not have a computer with internet access at home, registration computers are available in the Lawndale High School Counseling Office in the Admin 2 building on school days between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
1) Online Registration Forms: All students must complete the online registration form. To access the form, you will need a "SNAP-CODE", which should have been mailed to you by the district office. If you lost your SNAP-CODE, or never received one, please visit the Lawndale High School Counseling Office in the Admin 2 building during school hours (Monday-Friday, 8AM - 3PM) or call (310) 263-3106.
2) 9th Grade Survey: Incoming 9th Graders are required complete the 9th Grade survey as soon as possible. The survey is to be completed by the student, not the parent.
3) Immunizations and TB: All new students are required to show proof of immunizations and tuberculosis status by Thursday, June 28th, 2012. Your health care provider can provide you with a copy of your immunization record. Please submit your proof of immunization to the Lawndale High School Health Office. If you have immunization questions, call the Lawndale High School Health Office at (310) 263-3109. You will need to show proof of the following immunizations: Polio, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella. You will also need to show proof of tuberculosis status.
Principal’s Welcome Message
On behalf
of the Lawndale High School faculty and staff, I welcome you to the 2012-2013
school year. Lawndale High, rich in the tradition of academic excellence, is a
fantastic environment in which to learn.
We continue to embrace the demand for unprecedented, positive
instructional reform; and before our eyes, we have unfolding a brand new state
of the art campus. With change all
around, that which remains ever constant is our mission to maintain a first
rate staff who thrives by an unwavering desire to protect the academic, psychosocial,
and emotional well-being of the child.
In keeping
with current trends, we introduce you to our new on-line registration in an
effort to streamline the administrative process. By completing this part of the process, our
future freshmen will be invited to our August registration in order to pick up books
and class schedules. Our intent is to
break down barriers between home and school so that we can more easily work
together to do what is best for kids.
