Institution: Seattle University 
Program: Sullivan Leadership Award
Academic Excellence: Pursuit of rigorous college preparatory coursework and typically have a GPA of 3.7 or higher. 
Leadership: Participation and demonstrated leadership in school activities, public service, and community involvement.
Service: Commitment to justice and the good of others through service. 
Communication: Effective oral and written communication skills. 
Residence: Domestic students attending high school and residing in the United States. 
Institution: The University of Texas at Dallas 
Program: Eugene McDermott Scholars Program
The scholarship includes:
  • Full UT Dallas tuition, fees and yearly book stipends.
  • $1,400 per month to cover on-campus housing and living expenses.
  • Up to $12,000 per Scholar of study abroad funding.
  • Up to $3,000 per Scholar of career-oriented support for academic conferences, graduate school interview travel, MCAT, LSAT, etc.
  • Cultural experiences at the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Opera and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
  • Cohort travel with destinations including: Santa Fe, NM; Austin, TX; and Washington, D.C.
The award provides an essentially debt-free college education with benefits valued at more than $250,000 (out-of-state) or $150,000 (in-state) over the four-year term.

Program: First Year Scholarships
The Brown Scholarship: $33,000 per year. Candidates must rank minimally in the top 5%, 1400 on the SAT (CR+M) or 31 on the ACT. Application Deadline: December 1
Interview Deadline: February 1
The Bishop Ernest T. Dixon, Jr. Scholarship: Program to benefit high-achieving African-American, Hispanic and Native American students. Scholarship amounts are added to the Merit Scholarships listed above. Applicants must rank minimally in the top 10% of their high school class (or if high school does not rank, have the equivalent of a 3.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale).
