South Bay Business Women's Association Scholarship Application:Are you a Female Senior with a 3.0 GPA planning to enroll full-time at a college, university or technical school? Vietnam Veteran Scholarship: 500 word essay, if you do not know a Vietnam Veteran then, call the number at the bottom of the flyer and ask to please pair you up with a Vietnam Veteran. You can schedule your interview at the Media Center or a Public Library (remember they are giving you their time so, make sure you take them something as a thank you). It is $1,000 dollars. Beach Cities Lodge: $1,000 (with a possibility to be renewable up to 3 years): Senior, US Citizen, minimum of a 3.0 GPA, accepted at a 2 yr Community College or 4 yr university. Counselor needs to sign and verify GPA.  Download application and needs to be postmarked by -Due: April 1st, 2017

 

Grupo Guadalupano: Multiple $500 scholarships-Hispanic/Latin Heritage, Catholic and family should be registered at St. Catherine Laboure Church. Senior, applying to a 2 yr Community College or 4 yr university. Due: April 19th, 2017 Download and Return completed application to Ms. Rojas

 

Los Angeles Federal Credit Union: offers nine scholarships at $1,000 each to deserving students. Scholarship is open to high school seniors and college students with a minimum 2.5 GPA who plan to attend a college or vocational school in the fall of 2016. Durfee Family Scholarship: Provides financial assistance to deserving young people who might not otherwise be able to attend institutions of higher learning. Five $800 Durfee Family Scholarships will be awarded to help cover the expenses of tuition and supplies. Preference for California state colleges, community college, or technical school. Students who have demonstrated an active interest in volunteering, who are graduating from high school in spite of adverse personal or family circumstances. Download application at the bottom of this page

AJ Wang Foundation - Scholarship Fund: The scholarship provides up to three consecutive years targeting between 40 to 50 students attending the following community colleges: Los Angeles Community College District, Cerritos College, Santa Monica College, Moorpark College, Oxnard College, Ventura College, El Camino Community College/Compton Center, Pasadena City College, and Coastline Community College in Orange County.   http://www.ajwangfoundation.org/                                       -Due: April 15th to June 1st Annually.
