Mission Statements

The MSA goal is to prepare students for the rigors of a four-year university science program, with a special emphasis on marine science topics, technology and career opportunities. An experienced and enthusiastic team of teachers, counselors and administrators are working together to maintain a rigorous science-based academy in which all students are engaged and taking responsibility for their education. MSA students are guided, supported and encouraged in their academic pursuits and are provided a solid framework in which they feel safe to accept challenges and create their own educational opportunities.
