Some few tidbits about me...

I graduated from Leuzinger High School. Yes, I am an Olympian.

My family background is this, I have three siblings: 2 younger brothers and one older sister. I have two lovely nieces and one adorable nephew. I don't have any kids, but I do have an adorable Pomeranian mix dog: Chulo. He is the only child I can handle at the moment. Both of my parents are from Guatemala. I am very proud to acknowledge that I am the first in my family to both graduate high school and college.

In addition, I love, love to read. I like how words can allow you to escape reality. Aside from reading, I have an addiction to shoes. Heels just make an outfit!

Okay. Enough about me. Let's get into the expectations for the class.

As you embark in a new chapter of your life, YOU have a lot of new experiences to look forward to and new responsibilities now as a high school student. YOU have the ability to take responsibility for yourself and your education. You WILL pass this class if you WANT to pass this class. Work hard and it will pay off! Simple as that.

I look forward to your academic success here at Lawndale High! Please know that I am always here if you ever need assistance.

8th Period Goodbye Video

I wanted to share this video my lovely students from 8th Period made for me. I'm not a very emotional person, but this video had me crying and laughing. This class will always have a special place in my heart. Credit to Lizette who made the video.
