Please work with your site CV Family Academy Centers and Community Liaisons to support attendance.
This year's DELAC meetings are on January 29th and March 12th; each site has been assigned a different compliance item to present. You will have approximately 15 minutes to engage parents in some kind of learning/feedback activity:
January 29 DELAC-Only | 1. EL Parent Notification Letters - Gutierrez and Ramirez 2. Reclassification Criteria - Ady and Nguyen 3. EL Master Plan Overview - Munoz and Gonzalez 4. EL Program Waiver Request - Parrish 5. Ensure Compliance with Teacher/Aide Requirements - Pam Brown (HR) |
March 12 DELAC-Only | 1. State Testing (SBAC) and How to Prepare Students for the Test - Nellman (M) 2. Academic Standards and Classroom Assessments - Cruz 3. Categorical Funding through the Consolidated Application 2023-2024 and 2024-2025Plan for Use of Funds - Parrish 4. Annual Language Census - Soto and Varee |
Everyone was assigned this same topic last year... feel free to review what you did last year and only update/change if your site team thinks improvements are necessary.
