Vegas Themed Homecoming From Spirit days, activities, a rally, game, and dance we will be celebrating Homecoming all week starting September 25th through September 30th.
Make-up ID Picture Day 12th and 11th grade students are scheduled to take their ID pictures on September 20th. They will be given a pass to take their picture for a specific period. 9th and 10th grade students are scheduled to take their ID pictures on September 21st. They will be given a pass to take their picture for a specific period. Students will not be allowed to take their picture without a pass. Passes will be distributed by 9/19 in their 4th period.
Lawndale Vs. Inglewood Lawndale Cardinals will host the Inglewood Sentinels on Friday, September 15th. Gates open at 6pm. You must have your ticket purchased by game day. Sora Sweet Reads Sora Sweet Reads is a free summer reading program designed to encourage students to keep reading all year long. SORA is offering a collection of free and simultaneous use juvenile and young adult ebooks (and select audiobooks). These titles will be prominently displayed in SORA so it’s easy for students to find their next sweet read (May 15 - August 28)
Tutoring Take advantage of the free tutoring services. Tutoring is available until late in the evening for the core classes.
Free AirTutors! CVUHSD is offering FREE once a week tutoring for all your core subjects! Register to work with a fun and engaging tutor today. Students are expected to utilize at least one hour per week of tutoring.
