Writing Workshop: Work in Progress
Prewriting for an Autobiographical Narrative For an essay you may write later, list three or four vivid memories, describing the visual picture you see in your mind for each one. Develop the scene in your mind by adding details related to other senses. Include what you heard, smelled, and felt. Make notes about the weather and the temperature, the setting, and the taste, if there is one. Save this Memory List in the "Classwork" section of your notebook.
