Course Description
Welcome to Advanced Placement United States History. Throughout the summer, students can check this page for summer reading assignments, relevant newspaper articles, presentations, and tips to aid students as they prepare for the fall semester.
I would encourage students to begin following current events in the United States and around the globe. This is a crucial period in American history, and any time you spend following domestic and international events will be invaluable in both your education and future as citizens.

New Advanced Placement students: A major part of AP History is reading and analyzing Document Based Questions, or DBQ's. Please take a second to look at a sample DBQ I have provided, and read the Powerpoint Presentation entitled "DBQ's."
