Introduction to Physical Science (Period 1)

Introduction to Physical Science is a year long, U.C. approved science elective and physical science graduation requirement. The course will be covering the California State Standards for the Earth Sciences, and the link for these standards can be found on my main page. We will be looking at how the Solar System was formed, how the Earth was formed, plate tectonics, California geology, rocks and minerals, historical geology (i.e. dinosaurs, trilobites, etc.) volcanoes, earthquakes, and weather. I know that we will have a great time this year, and I look forward to working with all of you.
