THANK YOU to all of the BCA parents who came out to our March Parent meeting! The evening began with a showcase of BCA Biology and BCA World History class work. Parents learned about the use of allegory to depict historical events from Mr. Bedell's classes, and they learned about proper handwashing and germ control from Ms. Morris' classes.
The focus of the meeting was on health and nutrition. Brianna Gaines, Diana Murillo, and Gaby Martines gave a presentation about the Food Pyramid; Andrea Robles and Maria Gutierrez presented their brochure about Cholesterol, and parents worked with students to create Healthy Menus.
Everyone had a great time and came away with some great tools for having a healthier lifestyle.
