Kicking off the school year_Spirit Day_Sep 2011

Being the first spirit day of the year, all of the BCA students were extremely excited. This was also the first year the Biomedical Careers Academy had all four class grade levels. BCA Student Government planed this spirit day and decided to try new activities. After a relay race where the Sophomores won, the classes got ready for a game of tug of rope. The Freshman males went against the seniors for the first competition and the freshmen were defeated. But, the female Seniors lost to the Freshman. Next, were the male Sophomores against the Juniors. The juniors won this time and so did the female juniors against the sophomores. Lastly, the male Juniors went against the Seniors and once again the Seniors won. The female Freshman went against the Juniors and the Juniors held their title. After the scores were tabulated, the Sophomores ended up on top.
 
Overall, all the BCA students had a great time in the first spirit day of the year! This also gave the freshmen a chance to get an idea of what spirit days are all about. All students were able to show their spirit for their academy and their separate class grades. It’s was a time for all the BCA students to come together as a family and have a great
