Hello and welcome! My classes will have the most updated information available on Edmodo. The links to these are here under the links for U.S. or World. I will give you a class code in class (or you can email me!). Also, I use Remind101 (access codes for this also provided in class).
Regardless of which you are taking, U.S. or World History, the overall goal is that you gain historical literacy skills. History is a fluid thing and really up to interpretation. In this class, you will learn to read and analyze documents with a discerning eye. Question, research, question again and interpret what YOU think happened. Activities in this class will include reading a variety of texts and documents, but also media literacy - art, photography, political cartoons etc... Besides writing papers, you will be creating projects: documentaries, websites, art, comics to demonstrate your understanding of the material and to apply what you've learned about being a historian.
