Student Led Enterprise

Our Sports Medicine Pre-Apprenticeship Program gives students an opportunity to work directly under our on-site Certified Athletic Trainer to support athletes, assist with specific treatments and interventions, and master hydration. Students apply for the program, are interviewed and assessed by the AT, and then are scheduled by the AT to work in rotations with all athletic teams in order for students to gain experience with all types of athletes and sports.

Our SimRated badging program is the prerequisite for our CNA Program. Students commit to completing SimRated which involves textbook learning, watching videos of procedures, practicing those procedures using provided equipment, and then recording themselves performing procedures with provided equipment. These videos are then assessed by certified doctors and nurses. Students who pass their assessments earn badges of completion which are linked to their Linked In accounts.
Our CNA program is taught by a CNA and involves specific classroom/academic hours with a textbook, instructor, and assessments. There are also a required number of clinical hours each student must complete under the supervision of the program CNA. Once all requirements are met, students then take the state CNA exam. Once they pass the exam they are able to work as a CNA.
