Storyboard HW for your Unit 5 Essay

Juniors --

I gave you all a blank sheet of paper that you were supposed to fold into 6 squares. You will use this as a storyboard to prepare for your essay in which you will write an alternate ending for The Great Gatsby. This is going to help you map out what you want your ending to look like so that you're planning ahead instead of making up the ending on the spot. You will fill a minimum of 6 boxes and a maximum of 12; so you get to choose if you want to use anywhere from 6 to 12 boxes to plan your alternate ending essay. In each box, you will draw a scene and write a caption. The scene you draw should represent the external conflict. The caption you write for that scene should represent the internal conflict that's taking place within the characters. Email me if you have any questions and I should get back to you within an hour.

Best,

Ms. Lee
