IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION! INFORMACIÓN DE MATRICULACIÓN

Registration is August 6th - 10th: Students will come in to pickup an unofficial schedule, buy their PE uniform, take ID photos, and see a counselor if necessary.

The California PBIS Coalition recognizes LAWNDALE HIGH SCHOOL for successful PBIS implementation of Lawndale ROCKS Program at the GOLD level. Our school is a recipient within the California PBIS Coalition’s System of Recognition, reflecting excellence in the measurement of fidelity as well as our efforts in implementing the core features of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. Lawndale HS Community sincerely appreciates the hard work and commitment toward implementing PBIS with fidelity and creating the conditions to maximize academic and social behavioral outcomes for ALL students. DLI: Chromebook Training & Distribution for 9th and New 10th Graders

Every 9th grader and new 10th grader in the 2018-19 school year will receive a take-home Chromebook as part of our Digital Learning Initiative at Centinela Valley Union High School District. Prior to receiving the Chromebook, the student and a parent/guardian must complete a mandatory online training. 
 
It is highly recommended that the training course be completed prior to August registration to expedite the computer check-out process. Click on Link for more info.

Early, Walk-In Chromebook Distribution will be in the Media Center on Tuesday July 31 – Friday, Aug 3
• 7:30 – 9:30am
• 11am - 1pm
• 4:30 – 6:30pm

Graduation Information ~ CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2018!

It gives us great pleasure to inform you that Lawndale High School’s 2018 Graduation Ceremony is right around the corner. The entire Centinela Valley Union High School District community is extremely proud of the class of 2018 and looks forward to seeing family and friends at the graduation ceremony. Our entire school staff- teachers, office staff, safety officers, custodians, and administrators- have been working diligently to prepare our seniors for graduation.

"Lawndale Speaks" Student Demonstration/"Lawndale Speaks" la demostración de los estudiantes

On Wednesday, March 14 at 10am, there is a National School Walkout Day planned across the nation. Students across the country have been asked to walk out of class for 17 minutes in remembrance of the 17 people who were killed in Florida, and to express their demands for safe school campuses nationwide. We have received questions from students and parents regarding this day. Our Lawndale High students have elected to leverage their voices to promote school safety and social change in the aftermath of the Florida high school tragedy. Prom 2018

Class of 2018 presents "A Golden Night at Gatsby's" at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood on June 2nd from 7:00- 11:00 pm.

The Fonda theater is a historic theater built in the 1920's but upgraded to become the performance venue for today's hottest artists. Make sure to take advantage of the epic photo ops from the chandelier wall in the entryway to the rooftop overlooking Hollywood Boulevard.

Grad Nite 2018

Class of 2018's Grad Nite will be at Disneyland on June 8th. All students must have a signed permission slip to purchase a ticket. Permission slips will be handed out in Government / Econ classes. Tickets are $170 and will be sold from March 5th - March 29th.

If you would like to sit with your friends on the bus, you must purchase your ticket at the same time.

Spots are limited so please buy early!
